Open Clay Studio for Youth

Instructor: Renato Abbate

Comprehensive clay experience for all ages. From beginner to advanced, there is something for everyone. Experiment with slab and coil building, making your favorite character, a mug, chimes or a cookie jar, you are sure to have fun. Ages 5 - 12 encouraged. All materials, tools, and firings are included in tuition.

Nature Inspires Art: A unique blend of gallery exploration, art making, and collaboration. Young artists scout the museum exhibitions and grounds discovering how the beauty of nature continues to be a source of inspiration to artists. Kids @ CAMp provides an imaginative and nurturing environment for your young artists to explore the museum. Children are introduced to an assortment of materials, techniques and ideas. All campers work in a variety of mediums, creating their own works of art; creativity and self-expression are encouraged. Session culminates with a Campers’ Art Reception for family and friends. Manga Creations!

This is a super fun class covering topics of proportions in Manga, clothing, sizes of Manga from Chibi to Kawaii, to serious and the Moody Manga Antagonists. Learn how to get the most out of your Manga drawings, creating panels and a Manga graphic novel. Limited iPads available, please bring your own if an option.

High School Portfolio

Gain awareness of what is needed to build a strong portfolio presentation for study outside of High School. Students generate their own original project goal and work towards completion, in and out of class time.
