The classical approach to drawing involves working from life - looking at 3-d forms of objects and buildings. Study perspective, sight seeing and shadow shapes. The ability to capture form through "chiaroscuro" will be achieved. Begin by looking at objects and still lives, breaking down perspective within buildings, and transitioning into practicing from plaster cast models, to live models the last two days. Students gain more confidence in drawing skills, rendering from real life.
